I'm so in love with these painters palette earrings - made with leftover paint from my own mural/portrait work. These earrings also include aluminum e-waste, circle confetti hand punched from discarded straws, and bio resin. Each set is completely unique and will be similar but not identical to the images pictured.
These dots come on 15 mm gold filled earwires.
The pigment in these pieces comes from dried paint peeled off of my paint palettes. My primary paint medium is acrylic and unfortunately, acrylic paint is plastic. There is no current method of recycling these plastics via traditional means, so it makes perfect sense for me to incorporate them into my jewelry. The binding agent that holds these paint chips together is a plant based bio resin. The wires for these delicate hoops are 15 mm sterling silver gold filled.
The plastic pigment in my jewelry comes from beach plastic, street plastic, donated plastics and leftover bits from my other recycled plastic jewelry. In many cases, there is no current method of recycling these plastics via traditional means. The binding agent that holds the plastics together is a plant based bio resin. All plastics are cleaned and sanitized before use.
Due to the handmade nature of these earrings and the materials used to create them, slight differences should be expected from pair to pair, and from the image shown to illustrate the earrings. Colors may look different in person than they appear on screen. This listing is for one pair of earrings, only. All other photos are included for size and material reference.

These are considered costume jewelry and should be kept in dry areas when not being worn (so don't keep them in the bathroom or kitchen, don't go swimming in them, don't wear them while dancing in the rain, etc.). Spraying chemicals on or near costume jewelry may speed up the "antiquing" of metal - for instance, perfumes, hair spray, make-up setting sprays.
