Hi! I'm Jessica and
I'm an environmental artist
I have a strong love for nature - creating art based on, and with, consideration for that love is my passion. But there’s a secondary message behind my work: As a homeless high school drop out (who became a stripper to find a better life) I was called and treated like trash more times than I can count. And that's a huge reason I love working with garbage and throw away items - I feel very strongly about sharing how much potential and possibility "trash" has. That what some would discard as “nothing,” may be exactly what someone else needs. I hope my work helps people redefine "trash" in every form it takes, whether it's something we find tossed aside on the street or the way we're treated, and sometimes feel, about ourselves.
